Clean Radio Edits Only
Not the album version with the volume ducked at the wrong word

You Approve The List First
You see the planned set and the student request list before the dance

School dance DJ questions
How far in advance should we book a school dance DJ?
Prom and homecoming dates go first — most schools lock those 6 to 9 months out. Everything else, a month is usually fine. Call and I’ll tell you straight whether the date is open.
Can we give you a do-not-play list?
Yes, and I’d rather have one. Send songs, artists, or whole genres. It gets loaded before the dance so nothing depends on me remembering.
What if the gym has bad sound?
Most do. Concrete and a high ceiling are a specific problem with a specific fix — speaker placement and EQ set for that room, not a default. I’d rather see the space beforehand if there’s time.
Do you need anything from the school?
Two standard outlets on separate circuits if possible, and access an hour and a half before doors. That’s it. Everything else comes with me.
What happens if equipment fails mid-dance?
Backup gear is on site, in the vehicle, at every event. Not at the shop.
Do you work with our PTA’s budget?
Tell me the number. If it doesn’t cover a package I’ll say so rather than quietly cutting hours.
